Services Provided
This project was in its final testing phases and a couple of months away from final launch when I left Smart Solutions.
- BA/SA: I provided complete BA/SA design services of this project From the start of the project through the complete development cycle up to just prior to launch. All standard business analyst-related skills were utilized with this client.This specific client had many special BA requirements, especially due to high-end integrations such as with their ERP, unique needs such as how they handle restricted electronic products, integrations with other front-end properties, and more.Requirements, solution architecting, test planning & test support, and all other standard BA services were provided.
- Integration Support: This project has advanced levels of system integrations that exceed the complexities of most mid-sized Magento clients. As an example, the ERP they use internally is a custom-built system they refer to as Sparkle. Being a custom internal ERP all integrations require special care and consideration as no pre-built integrations exist. While they made use of the most common Adobe Commerce API’s, many API customizations needed to be created to either expose additional endpoints, or custom systems in Adobe Commerce needed to be created to reach out to external API’s for special business needs.
- SEO Various Support: Early project support and process analysis for project requirements and definition were done. This includes GA/GTM audits, setup and configuration of new GTM integration and configuration for the new site, Search Console review, landing page reviews, backlink reviews and more. As I left Smart Solutions prior to the project development completion, the work in this area was primarily related to the review of existing systems, and setup of the new systems prior to site launch.
- Design / UX Support: This project has many special order processes unique to itself, such as advanced product lifecycles, ordering process for restricted products, advanced product documentation, and more. As such there were unique interface flows which I helped architect and then work with the designers to complete through the design phases.
- PM Support: I supported as a backup PM, as well as directly supported the primary PM with various responsibilities, especially during the sales, design, and requirements phases. I was involved as an attendee or leader of nearly every meeting from the start of the project through the complete build phase. The primary PM responsibilities were handled by another PM at Smart Solutions.
