SOPREMA is an international manufacturer specializing in the production of innovative products for waterproofing, insulation, soundproofing and vegetated solutions for the roofing, building envelope and civil engineering sectors. Founded in 1908 in Strasbourg, France, SOPREMA now operates in over 90 countries.

Project Overview

While working for Graphically Speaking in the mid-late 2010’s, I helped design and create a global client portal, primarily focused on B2B customers, for them to access documentation, order history, shipment tracking, invoice & quote management, regional product catalogs, customer service tools and more.

This custom application was financed by the corporate offices and had many regional centers involved in the needs and requirements.  It was an application designed to be shared with each region, providing those regions a starting point to build upon and enhance for their own unique needs.

This custom application strongly integrated with their internal ERP systems, file management systems and order tracking and delivery management systems.

Services Provided

  • BA/SA:  All standard business analyst-related skills were utilized throughout the few years I worked with this client.  Helping design the applications from the ground up, integrations, gather requirements, wireframe development of all interfaces, UI/UX design, and more were done across the entire project base.  Every interface in the system was designed by me.
  • QA/Testing & Related:  As such all topics related to QA were of high importance for these projects.  I helped create test plans, deployment planning, process planning, workflows for delivery and related services.
  • PM:  I was both a primary and secondary PM during various phases of the project, from initial sales standpoints through full development and delivery.  All standard PM-based responsibilities were provided, such as billing, reports, meetings, task assignments, scheduling, QA/Testing, budgeting, quoting and all related services.  As a large highly complex set of projects, this client required every standard PM-related support service over the few years I worked with them.
  • Dev PM:  All standard development PM related responsibilities, such as scheduling development, working with the programmers, handling sprints, communicating requirements and more were handled by me throughout the entire project cycles.
