At SilencerShop.com, their top goal is to provide the simplest buying experience possible for suppressors. Silencer Shop sells silencers as well as helps through the entire NFA process, including providing tax stamps, gun trusts, and supports customers in all process for approvals.
Services Provided
This project as only partially built when I left Smart Solutions. It had exited the design and requirements phase, and had just entered development phases.
- BA/SA: I provided complete BA/SA design services of this project up to and into the start of the development phases. All standard business analyst-related skills were utilized with this client. This specific client has many unique requirements due to the restricted nature of the products and sales-based processes. As an example, all dealers you purchase silencers from have their own pricing structures, there are unique process for tax stamps and gun trusts, standard FFL integration needs, dealer portals, SSO systems, and high end ERP integrations. Helping design integrations, gathering requirements, wireframe interfaces for new workflows and more were done across the entire project base.
- Integration Support: This project has advanced levels of system integrations that exceed the complexities of most mid-sized Magento clients. As an example, instead of using native Magento interfaces for order history and management, custom dealer and custom customer portals exist. SSO Systems for integrating with these portals exist, high end data integration and transmission processes exist and more.
- SEO Various Support: Early project support and process analysis for project requirements and definition were done. This includes GA/GTM audit, Search Console review, SEM Rush review, landing page reviews, backlink reviews and more. As I left Smart Solutions prior to the project development completion, the work in this area is related primarily to review of existing systems prior to starting development.
- Design / UX Support: This project has many special order processes unique to itself, where customers are choosing specific dealers to purchase products from, instead of purchasing directly from Silencer Shop. Similar to a marketplace. As such there were unique interface flows which I helped architect and then work with the designers to complete through the design phases.
- PM Support: I supported as a backup PM, as well as directly supported the primary PM with various responsibilities, especially during the sales, design, and requirements phases. The primary PM was handled by another PM at Smart Solutions.
