Unique Project Overview
The Brass Sales website is a completely protected B2B ecommerce site, designed to support sales with pre approved wholesalers. Most information is protected and available for viewing only after logging in. The site integrates fully into their Counterpoint ERP system.
Services Provided
I provided a complete range of services for Brass Sales both from a BA/SA aspect as well as being the primary PM during the entire development phase, passing the project off to another PM many months after site launch and exit of warranty periods for long term maintenance.
- BA/SA: I provided complete BA/SA design services of this project From the start of the project through the complete development, through launch and after launch. All standard business analyst-related skills were utilized with this client due to the unique organization business needs. Requirements gathering, solution architecting, wireframing, UI/UX, workflows, business processes, test planning and more were all provided.
- PM: I provided complete PM services through the initial project development phases up through launch. A secondary PM then took over as a primary PM only after the successful launch of the project had been completed fully and was live past warranty periods. All standard PM services were provided such as budgeting, time management, meetings, scheduling, resource allocation etc…
- Complete Integration Support: This project has advanced levels of system integrations that are common for mid sized advanced Magento clients. As an example the website directly talks with their ERP system for everything from product details, order management, multi-warehouse inventory, pricing, customer access permissions, shipping and more.
- Design / UX Support: This project has several processes unique to itself, such as multi-warehouse stock availability tracking for customers, processes to permit paying balances on B2B on-account invoices and others. Various design UI/UX support were needed to help define unique interfaces for these areas.
