RDSC is a long term client which I have supported for a great number of years, first at Graphically Speaking and then later at Smart Solutions.
My relationship with this client instilled such trust that the owner directly reached out to me and requested to follow me to Smart Solutions after working with him for several years at Graphically Speaking.
Services I provided
With both agencies (GSSI and SS) I provided complete end-to-end services, including BA/SA style services as well as full PM services. This included advanced requirements gathering, custom system integration architecture & development, complete solution design and much more.
This client has had multiple ERP/POS systems over the years, as well as a lot of unique business specific processes and customizations. As a firearms dealer in Canada, there are many restrictions on how products are ordered and fulfilled, similar to the FFL environments that are more USA focused.
Key Highlights from Graphically Speaking
I started working with this client when they approached Graphically Speaking with a need to rapidly leave their Shopify environment due to being kicked off it due to limitations in the industry space (Firearms)
- Rapid migration from Shopify to Magento Adobe Commerce Cloud Enterprise without significant design changes (2 month total timeframe to complete all work or risk live shopify site going offline)
- Data migration, Content migration
- Initial integration with Lightspeed POS on-prem utilizing 3rd party extensions
- Later development for end to end custom Lightspeed POS integration (due to limitations and issues with 3rd party extension providers)
- Full BA/SA services of all types
- Full PM management of project from start through to my leaving of GSSI
- Significant security focused services

This client reached out to me directly after learning of my departure from Graphically Speaking. His trust in my experience and capabilities led him to wish to continue working with me, even though Smart Solutions is a significantly higher priced agency for the style of work services he needed. Due to him following me directly, I also wound up being the primary PM role for him during my entire time at Smart Solutions.
