Project Overview
During my entire tenure at Smart Solutions, I was responsible for the Adapt Health client and their various projects in all areas of their project. This was one of the larger clients and projects at Smart Solutions, with many special complexities such as Netsuite integrations, multiple Adobe Commerce Cloud environments, multi-domain websites, high traffic and online sales levels (50M+), HIPPA compliance needs (medical & prescription related topics) and much more.
The project initially started as a Magento 1 –> Magento 2 set of upgrades, site rebuild, data migration, system integrations and everything else normal for larger build projects.
After completion of development, the project switched to a high level maintenance and growth plan project, with long term Project management needs. As the most senior BA/SA/PM adobe commerce experienced project manager, I took on this as one of my PM/SA/BA projects for nearly 3 years.
A few examples of task groups I worked on with this client included:
- HIPPA / PIPEDA Support: Agile Medical is a health organization, and their websites touch on sensitive information which fall under HIPPA requirements, such as prescription collection for some parts of orders. Supporting in processes, security and related topics was part of my responsibilities. example: these projects have unique workflows for restricting access, deployments, approvals and more.
- PM: All standard PM-based responsibilities, such as billing, reports, meetings, task assignments, scheduling, QA/Testing, and much more. As a large enterprise-level set of projects, this client required every standard PM-related support service over the 3 years I worked with them.
- BA/SA: All standard business analyst-related skills were utilized throughout the years with this client. Helping design inegrations, gather requirements, wireframe interfaces for new topics and more were done across the entire project base. Simple Example: BOPIS (buy online pickup in store) custom system flows, interface designs, customer and checkout architecture & design and related for the system from initial requirements through to complete programming completion.
- ERP, Application & Integration Support: These projects have all the standard styles of integrations and systems you would expect from enterprise-level systems. Systems such as live chat, marketing, marketing automation, advanced customizations for business-specific needs (such as prescription information gathering), and ERP integrations (in their case NetSuite as the primary ERP).
- SEO Various Support and enhancement topics: such as core web vital score improvements, backlink/301 audit support, speed optimization support
- QA/Testing & Related: With high traffic & large transactional volumes ($50M+), any changes, updates, security patches, enhancements, deployments and related need to be done and tested carefully to ensure site stability. Even short site downtime could result in large loss of sales volumes. As such all topics related to QA were of high importance for these projects.
